I have been teaching since 1998. I have experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, and Third grade. My passion is teaching Pre-K students, because they are like sponges who soak up information and knowledge. As a Pre-K teacher, I have the incredible opportunity to watch my four/five year old students undergo an amazing transformation. Students that enter school unable to recognize a single letter, color, number or shape but are quickly transformed into wonderfully print-literate and mathematical conversationalists.

I want to introduce this book to my Pre-K students because it is a Wordless picture book with incredible illustrations. Most of my students are ELL students, and this book would be a great tool to use with my students to get them to tell/retell the story in their own words. It is a great way to get my students to use their imaginations.
